68. FC RACIN' IN THE ROUGH, "Nitro" LM, Edward Forry


Came to the line at 3:11 pm.

Water - Five whistles to get across the road and 2 more to get into the water. Six whistles to get across the water and up on the dam to the bird.

Land - One whistle by the first bale and three more to get beyond the last bale. And a few more to the bird.


67. FC-AFC MOONSHINE'S WHITEWATER RAPID, "Louie" LM, Wayne Curtis

Louie came to the line at 3:06 pm.

Water - First whistle came half the down, the second to the road. The third whistle to move right and forth at pond side. Fifth in the pond and few more to get the bird.

Land - One whistle between the first and second bale to get the line. The second one came near the end but he ducked behind the bale. Multiple whistles to move him to the bird.

66. FC MCS HENRY, "Henry" LM, Danny Farmer

2nd & 3rd Series - Water / Land Blind

Water - Multiple whistles in the water before the point. Six more after the point and the dog landed near the corner of the pond after pulling through same lunging water to the dam. Got stopped for a cast to his bird.

Land - Nearly to the end before he got his first whistle.

64. FC MAGIC TRICK'S ZUMA, "Zuma" LM, Greg Bartlett

Zuma came to the line at 2:52 pm.

Water - Three whistles to cross the road and two more to enter the water. Multiple whistles as he moved through the pond to come out in the far corner. Couple more whistles down the dam and to the bird.

Land - Two whistles near the last hay bale to move the dog over. Multiple whistles at the end before the judges called the planter. No bird had been set.

63. FC-AFC LKY'S CONTROLLED CHAOS, "Riot" LM, Kenny Trott

Riot came to the line at 2:46 pm.

Water - Riot took four whistles to cross the road, four more to get in the pond. Five whistle in the water to get to the dam and pick up his bird.

Land - A couple of whistles  before the second bale to get the line started. Three more down the slot.

62. FC-AFC PRIMROSE'S WHAT I AM, "Edie" LF, Chris Ledford

Edie came to the line at 2:42 pm.

Water - Three whistles to get in the water and two in the water before hitting the lunging water. Three more and to the dam to the to the pick up the bird.

Land - One whistle by the bale, and another one near the third bale. Two more whistles to adjust the line and end the blind.

61. FC SUMMIT'S COUNTRY ROADS TAKE ME HOME, "Denver" LM, Scott Harp

2nd & 3rd Series - Land / Water Blind

Water - Two whistles to the water, five more in the water to come to the dam and right at the bird.

Land - Very good initial line, four whistles near the end to come back with the bird.

60. FC-AFC HOCKLEY CREEK'S SWITCH HITTER, "Mickey" LM, Robby Bickley

Mickey came to the line at 2:31 am.

Water - Two whistles to get to the water, and two more in the water. Stopping very near the point, Mickey got two more whistles and on the dam and bird.

Land - Three whistles to establish the line through the slot and then he headed back with the bird.

59. TELAMON'S WAR EAGLE, "Ajax" LM, Clint Avant

Ajax came to the line at 2:26 pm.

Water - Five whistles to the water and two more at the shore. Taking multiple whistles as the dog moves to the dam and returns back with the bird.

Land - Three whistles to get the line through the slot and to the bird.

58. FC-AFC TIPPECANOE'S COSMIC JOURNEY, "Trek" LM, George Wamsley

Trek came to the line at 2:20 pm.

Water - Multiple whistles to get to the entry point of the pond. A few whistles to get through the pond to the far shore to pick up his bird.

Land - First whistle came at the second the bale. Three more to establish a line through the bales and multiple whistles at the end.

Pick Up - 57. HIGH MILEAGE PRAIRIE PRINCESS, "Grace" LF, Martha Kress or Paul Sletten

Came to the line at 2:15 pm.

Water - Four whistles to get across the road and to enter the water. Five whistles to the point and two more to get off and to the dam. Grace got over the dam and into tall cover behind dam.

Grace had to be picked up.

56. FC-AFC JOY COMES WITH THE MORNING, "Joy" LF, Bobby Smith

Joy came to the line at 2:10 pm.

Water - Two whistles to get Joy across the road to the water. Multiple whistles in the water and a return with the bird.

Land - First whistle between bale one and two. Lined the blind from there.

Gun Change - 2nd & 3rd Series

Another gun change happened at 2:08. We are getting through this series 2 and 3 in good fashion.

55. FC-AFC LOCK FIVE'S GOT HER BLUE GENES ON, "Baby" LF, Ray Voigt

Baby came to the line at 2:02 pm.

Water - The first whistle put Baby across the road. The second to get to the pond. This carried her over to the point and on the levee. One last whistle on the levee to get her bird.

Land - First whistle at the first bale. Second at the third bale and the final at the bird.

54. FC-AFC IN THE HUNT'S SHAKE AND BAKE, "Baker" LM, Gary Unger

Baker came to the line at 1:57 pm.

Water - Nice initial line stopped in the road. One whistle to go to the pond and two or three more in the water and one on the levee to the bird.

Land - Initial line brought him between the first and second bales. A whistle to the third bale, the second whistle to get Baker around the back of the third bale and out to the bird.




53. FC FLY ME TO THE MOON, "Shiner" LM, Tim Milligan

Shiner came to the line at 1:53 pm.

Water - Two whistle down the right side to the pond. One more to get Shiner in and he carried this to the bird.

Land - His initial line carried him almost to the third bale. Taking three whistles and one final one to get his bird.

Ruger came to the line at 1:48 pm.

Water - Excellent line to the pond. Ruger took two whistles to put him out away from the shore. Three more into the pond.

Land - Two whistles early by the first bale and one more at the second bale. One more to get him out by the third bale and the final two to get the bird.

51. FC SHOTGUN HARRY, "Harry" LM, Al Arthur

Harry came to the line at 1:45 pm.

Water - Initial line almost took Harry to the pond. One whistle put him into the shallow side. The next stop was over the point and on the levee. Two more to get the bird.

Land - One whistle right of the bale and the second one was almost to the third bale. The next one came wide right of the third bale. Harry took three more cast to the bird.

50. AFC WHITEWATER SHAQ N BAMS BOUNCIN PITA, "Bounce" LF, Cindie Little

Bounce came to the line at 1:40 pm.

Water - Excellent line all the way into the water. Three whistles to the levee and two more to the bird.

Land - Excellent line to the bird with a quick check down!

49. FC-AFC LEICA SABERTOOTH, "Tiger" LM, Dave Rorem

Tiger came to the line at 1:35 pm.

Water - Initial line carried Tiger down the field. One cast to cross the road to the edge of the pond. Another one send him down the shallow side of the water. Multiple whistles to the end.

Land - Initial line took him to the second bale. Two whistles to adjust the line between bales. And one more just past the third bale sending Tiger to the bird.

48. FC-AFC SUNDOG'S MAXIMUM PURSUIT, "Max" LM, John Henninger

Max came to the line at 1:29 pm.

Water - Excellent initial line. Getting one whistle to get in the water. Max ran the shallow water to the point. Getting off he got back into the pond. This carried to the bird.

Land - Half way to the first bale, a whistle carried him to the third bale. Two more and he got his bird.

47. FC-AFC STRAIGHT TO THE HEART-DAGGER, "Dagger" LM, Johnny Armstrong

Dagger came to the line at 1:26 pm.

Water - Dagger's initial line took him 1/2 way down the field. He got his first whistle down at the middle of the road with the second whistle putting him in the pond. Three more and a check down at the bird.

Land - One whistle between the first and second bale, The second and third whistle came on the way to the third bale. Taking two or three more whistles got Dagger around the bale and the final one bird.

46. FC TRUMARC'S COMEDIENNE, "Wanda" LF, Danny Farmer

Wanda came to the line at 1:21 pm.

Water - Wanda took two whistles down the field and two more to get across the road and into the pond. Another whistle in the pond and two more on the levee to complete the blind.

Land - Initial line carried Wanda past the second bale. Three more whistles to the bird.

45. FC-CFC SWEETIE'S EASY RIDER, "Ford" LM, Jim Gonia

Ford came to the line at 1:17 pm.

Water - Ford had a good initial line getting one whistle to adjust entry into the water. Ford in the lunging water took multiple whistles but continued through lunging water by the point and to the dam where he was stopped and handled to the bird.

Land - One whistle by the first bale to adjust his angle into the slot. Two more and he was headed back with the bird.

44. FC-AFC KIRKWOOD'S ACE OF LONE STAR, "Lexie" LF, Casey Adams

Lexie came to the line at 1:12 pm.

Water - Lexie got four whistles to get down the field and across the road. Two more to get in the pond. She went down the right shallow side, crossed the point and to the levee. Lexie then was handled to the bird.

Land - Initial line went past the second bale. Three more whistles and she got her bird.

43. FC-AFC LANE'S THRILLA N MANILLA, "Frazier" LM, Ryan Brasseaux

Frazier came to the line at 1:07 pm.

Water - Three whistles down the field and one to cross the road. Frazier went down the shallow right side of the water over to the point and to the levee. One more whistle came to get down the levee and to his bird.

Land - Nice initial line past the first bale. Second and third whistles to adjust his line and one last one for a check down at the bird.

42. FC TROUBLESOME RIBEYE MEDIUM RARE, "Pink" LF, Chris Ledford

Pink came to the at 1:02 pm.

Water - Three whistles to cross the road. The third whistle she carried it into the pond. The next whistle came to change Pink's swimming direction to the levee, and the final to check down at the bird.

Land - Her initial line carried her almost to the third bale. A quite a few whistles got her around the bale and past it.

41. FC RED CEDAR'S WIDE RECEIVER, "Driver" LM, Wayne Curtis

Driver came to the line at 12:57 pm.

Water - Initial line stopped by the road. Driver took two whistles to cross to the other side by the pond. One more to get in the water and tow to change direction to the bird.

Land - First whistle at the second bale and two at the third hay bale. The final whistle to get the bird.

Charlie came to the line at 12:53 pm.

Water - The initial line carried Charlie down the field and across the road and into the pond. Three whistles to adjust the line as she swam. This took her all the way to the bird.

Land - First whistle came between the second and third hay bale. The second whistle at the bird.

39. FC-AFC LUCKY TIMES, "Lucky" LM, Drew Clendaniel

Lucky came to the line at 12:47 pm.

Water - One whistle down the side and one down the road. One more whistle to take a line into the water. This carried Lucky to the levee. A quick whistles for the bird.

Land - First whistle by the first bale and the second came at the second the bale for the line. Three whistles between the second and third the bale to the bird.

38. FC-AFC INDIGO HELLO DOLLY, "Dolly" LF, Edward Forry

Dolly came to the line at 12:43 pm.

Water - Two whistles took Dolly across the road at the correct spot. Four more to adjust her swimming line and one at the end.

Land - Three whistles to adjust her line going past the second hay bale. Two additional ones to the bird.

37. FC-AFC SKYWATCH SHERIFF, "Sheriff" LM, Ray Vreeland

Sheriff came to the line at 12:37 pm.

Water - Sheriff recieved his first whistle about 1/2 way down the road to get across. A second one came to put him in the pond and one more in the pond. The final whistle came to check down at the end.

Land - His initial line carried him to the first bale. He got three more to tighten up his line and get to the bird. A last check down whistle at the bird.

2nd & 3rd Series - Gun Change - Weather

The second gun change for the 2nd & 3rd Series - Land / Water Blind happened at 12:27 pm.

36. FC MOSSY RIVER'S SPLIT INFINITIVES, "Drifter" LF, Jane Patopea

Drifter came to the line at 12:21 pm.

Water - Three whistles to get Drifter down the road and into the water. This carried her all the way up onto the levee. One whistle to pick up the bird.

Land - One whistle at the first bale and two whistles at the second bale and one or two more at the bird.

35. D & S'S PETIT CAJIN NOIR, "Zoe" LF, Mark Smith

2nd & 3rd Series - Land / Water Double

Water - Zoe took tow whistles to get a good angle into the water. Two more to get her through the water before the point. She got two whistles that put her past the point and to the dam for a check down whistle at the bird.

Land - Good initial line with four whistles to the blind.

34. FC WILSON'S DUCKFARM GATOR-MAN, "Gator" LM, Clint Avant

2nd & 3rd Series - Land / Water Blind

Water - Gator took three whistles to get the proper angle to cross the road and into the water. One more followed by others as he moved across the pond by the point that caused him to be in the lunging water. Another whistle on the dam that moved him over towards the bird.

Land - Early whistle before the tree to try to establish his line. Five more to move him into the slot and onto his bird.

33. FC ELMINGO'S FLIP YOUR LID, "Libby" LF, Marcy Wright

Libby came to the line at 12:04 pm.

Water - Three whistles to get the perfect angle across the road and one towards the pond. A quick stop to redirect her to the water and three whistles in the water to her bird. A check down and Libby came back with her bird.

Land - The first whistle came at the first bale, two more down the slot keeping her on line and at the bird.

32. FC-AFC FLAWLESS EXECUTION - FLEX QAA, "Flex" LM, Alan Pleasant

Flex came to the line at 12:00 pm.

Water - Flex got two whistles to get the sweet spot across the road and into the water. Two more in the water and a check down to grab his bird.

Land - One whistle by the tree and one just past the second bale to head down the slot. Two more whistles to keep him on line and close.

31. FC DOCTOR CABERNET JUST IN CASE, "Doc" LM, Al Arthur

Doc came to the line at 11:57 am.

Water - Doc got one whistle to get across the road, two more to get a correct angle into the pond and a final whistle on the dam to move him over to pick up his bird.

Land - He received one whistle between the first and second bale. Two more into the slot and onto his bird.

30. FC-AFC NINA MCFIZZ, "Nina" LF, Judy Rasmuson

Nina came to the line at 11:50 am.

Water - Four whistles to get the angle into the water. One whistle in the water that put her in lunging through the running water over to the point towards the shore. Multiple whistles would not help, but she quickly recovered at the dam. With a whistle she was moved over to the bird.

Land - One whistle about 1/3 the way out that carried her to the last bale. A quick safety whistle and she was on her bird.

29. FC-AFC 3R'S MR T SMOKEN JOE, "Smokie" LM, Dave Rorem

Smokie came to the line at 11:46 am.

Water - Two whistles to get him across the road and the correct angle into the water. A quick blow of the whistle on the shore to keep Smokie on line followed by a few more to get him across the pond and out to his bird.

Land - Initial line took him nearly 2/3 the way to the bird. A couple of whistles to bring her on line to the end.

28. FC OFF TO SEE THE LIZARD, "Lizzee" LF, Ray Voigt

Came to the line at 11:44 am.

Water - Two whistles to get across the road. Multiple whistles trying to get a correct line in the water. Lizzee crossed the point and kept going to the corner of the pond where she got a couple of whistles to move her through the corner of the water and down the dam to get her bird.

Land - The first whistle came about the second bale then one more took her down the slot.

27. FC-AFC BAYOU TECHE SWING FOR THE FENCE, "Foxx" LM, Lauren Hays Curtis

Series 2 & 3 - Water / Land Blind - Foxx came to the line at 11:43 am.

Water - Foxx got two whistles to get the angle across the road. Two more in the water and multiple whistles get him through the running water as Foxx crossed the point lunging towards the dam. A whistle on the dam and over to the bird.

Land - Two whistles at the second hay bale that moved him down the slot and to the bird.

26. FC TRULUCK'S GOIN' JESSIE, "Jessie" LF, Danny Farmer

Series 2 & 3 - Water / Land Blind - Jessie came to the line at 11:36 am.

Water - Three whistles to get the angle across the road. Two more to get the right entry into the water. Two whistles and a check down at the end and she came back with her duck.

Land - Good initial line. First whistle in the slot, where she stayed on line to the end.
