Deets and Chris went to the line at 8:08 am.

Flyer - Deets got out to the fall area made a few turns and got his bird.

Middle - Going down the right side of the levee, Deets got deep to the back cover. Hunted a large area left and right, but he worked it out and got his bird.

Left - He got into the pond on a good line and went straight to his bird.

Came to the line at 8:52 am.

Water - One whistle to adjust the line before the road and one to adjust the angle of the entry into the pond. A couple more whistles came in the water to position Deets out and to his bird.

Land - A early whistle to adjust his line that carried him most of the way through the slot.

"Deets" with  handler Chris Ledford came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 9:59 am.

Flyer - Deets went out to the fall area, had a tight hunt and got his bird.

Long - He went through the cover and hit the water puddle. Going down the side of the trees he cut through to the left side and hunted deep. Coming back through the trees, he came in to his bird from the right.
