Middle Retired – Straight to the area by the blind, into cover and to the bird.

Right Retired – Passed back of the middle retired blind and went deep angled left and away, hunted left and right deep, handled to the Right Retired bird from where he was on the right side of the field.

Left Retired – Got it!

"Maestro" and Misty came to the line at 8:22 am and received a no bird. They will go back 5 spots and have a rerun in the 6th spot back.

Maestro and Misty came to the line at 7:52 am.

Flyer - Out to the area, had a hunt and got her bird.

Middle - Maestro went out right of the bales and through the right side of the pond to the fall area. She then turned right a one big loop and went back to her bird.

Left - He went through the hay bales on an angle to the left. Got to the tip of the trees and moved deep in the right field to the heavy cover. Going back in forth between the left and right field, getting deep, his worked her way to her bird and got it.

Series 2 & 3 - Water / Land Blind - "Maestro" Came to the line at 8:40 am.

Water - A few whistles to get the angle across the road and into the water. A few more to adjust in the water and challenge the line. One last quick whistle to exit the water and on the bird.

Land - An early whistle by the tree to establish initial line, then three more to get through the slot and to his bird.

"Maestro" with handler Misty Melo came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 9:48 am.

Flyer - Maestro went out through the corn field just deep of the bird. He swung right, directly to his mark.

Long - He went down the road to the tree line and again directly to his bird.
