Handle 103. FC-AFC BAYOU-STAR ROYAL BABY, “Brit” LF, John Caire

"Brit" and John came to the line at 8:37 am

Flyer – Across the field, through cover, back this way through the cover for her bird that landed on this side, nice!

Left Retired – Cut to the area behind the middle retired and straight to cover for the Left Retired, found her bird on the second turn.

Right Retired – Under the arc and deep of the Middle Retired, continued deep, turned and made her way back towards the mat, then reversed and went deep for the right retired bird.

Middle Retired – Down the right side of the field and handled left to the bird.

103. FC-AFC BAYOU-STAR ROYAL BABY, “Brit” LF, John Caire

Brit and John came to the line at 8:13 am.

Flyer - Brit had an extended hunt but got her bird.

Middle - She went through the hay bales into the pond on a nice line and went straight to her bird.

Left - Going through the bales of hay and a very nice angle entry into the pond, Brit got out and went down to the left of the tree line and left into the cover. She came back out and got her bird.

103. FC-AFC BAYOU-STAR ROYAL BABY, “Brit” LF, John Caire

Came to the line at 9:03 am.

Water - Brit carried her initial line a short distance. Her first two whistles came to get her across the road. This carried into the pond and almost to the levee. One more whistle and a check down got her to the bird.

Land - One whistle at the second bale and two more to get right of the third bale. A few more at the bird and she got it.

"Brit" with handler John Caire came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 10:04 am.


Flyer - Great Mark!

Long - Excellent line through the cover, he got just past the bird but pulled up to get it.
