****Announcement**** Amended 10th Series Test

The NRC Field Trial Committee just finished a meeting to change the test so the pheasant flyer is shot to the left. No competing dogs have run the test.

(Please note: The Diagram and Sketch on the Tenth Series test description both show the flyer shot to the right … The Judges decided to change the direction to be shot to the left because it was being thrown into the wind and created a couple of no birds as a result.)

No-Bird Policy

It has been a little confusing following all these rearranged numbers and some of you questioned the no-bird policy of going back six dogs. In the interest of fairness, sometimes it is not followed as the "letter of the law" due to the multiple-dog handlers and needing to keep a few dogs between each time they run. Obviously, this becomes increasing difficult a dogs are dropped and fewer teams are competing.

Rearranging the Running Order due to No Birds

103, 95, 104, 99, 100, 3, then a GUN CHANGE and 106.

Stay tuned …
