Came to the line at 10:17 am.

Flyer - Smokie went through the stubble and back into the it ending up hunting deep and to the left. He worked his way to the correct side but was still deep. Smokie then quartered his way to the bird.

Short Retired - Perfect line across the field. He go in the trees and the cover. Established a tight hunt in the fall area to retrieve his hen pheasant.

Middle Retired - Out across the strips of cover to the tree line, Smokie worked down the left side of the tree line to get his duck.

Long Retired - Going out down the mowed path and through the cover, he continued through the middle retired blind and on down to the tree line and around the corner to the fall area where he missed his bird. Getting deep left he got back into the woods, continuing to hunt deep and wide left. He came back in and got his bird.

Came to the line at 4:15 pm.

Flyer - No problem with this bird.

Middle Retired - Nice exit but headed towards the tree line then made a left instead of a right. A couple of passes along the tree line and he has his bird.

Long Retired - Good line until he was even with the gunners. A right into the area of the fall for a few passes behind the gunners. Finally ending the hunt with a loop in the corn field to the bird.

"Smokie" and Dave came to the line at 8:10 am.

Right - Smokie got into the cover and back with his bird.

Left Flyer - Good angle down the hill and through the bales. Smokie's initiates a hunt close and deep of the gunners. The hunt expands towards the trees before before he comes back to the area of the fall to hunt up his bird.

Left Retired - Coming into the fall area between the short and long retired, he moves on to hunt up the long retired.

Short Retired - Smokie headed into the field and right to the fall for his bird.

"Smokie" and Dave came to the line at 11:33 am

Blind – Lined through the bales, a Left whistle to get in the 1st piece of water, 2 left whistles for direction change in the water and onto the point, 1 left over to get off point, and 1 left over to get to the bird.

Blind -2:57 pm - Smokie's initial line carried him past the brush and half way down the hill. He got his first whistle from handler Dave Rorem to move him to the blind. Two more whistles to get Smokie through the slot the the final three whistles to put him on the bird.

Came to the line at 11:40 am.

Flyer - Smokie went through the cover close to the guns. One quick turn right then he moved down the field to the bird.

Middle Retired - Left of the holding blind, he got deep then quickly returned to the cover and fall area for his bird.

Left Retired - Good line out to the cover. Very nice mark.

Right Retired - Drove down the right side of the field to the tree line. Two turns right then a left to bring him past the blind and to his bird.

Smokie and Dave came to the line for the 4th Series.

Flyer - After an extended hunt, Smokie came back with his bird.

Middle - He went through the pond and to the area of the fall. Taking a few loops and he is headed back with his bird.

Left - Going through the bales and a splash through the pond, Smokie went to his bird and brought it back.

Smokie came to the line at 11:46 am.

Water - Two whistles to get him across the road and the correct angle into the water. A quick blow of the whistle on the shore to keep Smokie on line followed by a few more to get him across the pond and out to his bird.

Land - Initial line took him nearly 2/3 the way to the bird. A couple of whistles to bring her on line to the end.
