In The Books - Series 4 (Day 2) - Water Triple - Review

Series 4 is officially in the books on Tuesday, November 13 at 9:17 am.

This Water Triple proved to be a challenge and so has the weather. As we wait for the callbacks and get ready for Series 5, here is a review of what all happened in the two day it took to complete the 4th test.

Total number of starting dogs: 83

Day 1: Monday, November 12, first running dog #7 came to the line about 7:00 am and the last dog of the day #95 completed its test around 4:30 pm. A total of 69 dogs completed their test in 8.5 hours on day one of this split test.
Day 2: Tuesday, November 13, first running dog #96 came to the line approximately at 7:00 am with the last dog completing #6 finishing at 9:17 am. A total of 14 dogs completed their test in approximately 2.25 hours.
Total time to run Series 4: 10.75 hours

A new Test Dog "Phillie" to replace our female who came into season.

Weather: Day one of Test 4 had a high of 44 degrees that felt like 41 degrees. The chance of rain was in the air all day and it finally broke loose at 3:00 pm with a down pour. The temps kept dropping and multiple weather alerts were going out on bad road conditions, snow and freezing. On day 2 we woke up to snow and a chilly 32 degrees.
