At 8:20 am we had our first gun change.
The temps are marginally better at 26 degrees but the sun is bright in the cloudless sky. The shadows on the left hand bird that once encompassed the field have dissipated to narrow strips and will soon leave completely. The wind, still out of the north, has picked up to a steady 12 mph.
