handler Bill Fruehling came to the line to run their
first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 10:45 am.
Flyer - He went out across the cut corn to the fall area and quickly got his bird.
Long - He went down the hill through the cover and into the puddle. He headed right to the end of the field in the corn, but came back through the trees and out deep left of the bird. He worked his way to retrieve his bird.
