"Abbey" and Kenny came to the line at 10:40 am

Blind – Quick whistle at the end of the slot, 4 whistles to adjust entry into the water, heading left she takes 3 whistles to adjust her line, 3 whistles to persuade her to the point, 2 on the point to cast off, an adjustment in the pool and she gets a toe hold to the shore and her bird.

FC-AFC BAYPOINT'S WESTMINSTER ABBEY, "Abbey" 

Blind -Abbey's initial line brought her left of the brush. She got her first whistle from handler Kenny Trott on the hill to adjust her line. The next four came on the flat of the field with one more to get her through the slot. The final blow of the whistle was at the bird.

"Abbey" and Kenny came to the line at 8:08 am

Flyer – Very long bird, came in right of the guns, 1 big loop right, then moved down the cover strip, got a little deep, but she got it!

Middle Retired – Under the arc, turned through the cover, came back into cover and got it.

Left Retired – Straight to the fall area in heavy cover and got her bird.

Right Retired – Went straight to the blind, made a pass left and then right, got her bird.

Abbey had a long honor due to the no birds and turned away from the field for a bit…

Abby with handler Kenny Trott came to the line at 7:27 following a small delay while the blinds were being brushed clear of snow.

Flyer - Nice tight hunt and back with her bird.

Middle - Down the dam and ended up behind the gunners but a quick turn to the area of the fall and Abby has her bird.

Left - Nice initial line but came out of the pond area a little wide left. Went into the cover and back out deep of mark but quickly came back and was on her bird.

Came to the line at 8:24 am.

After a brief delay to clear a truck that drove throw the test.

Water - Abby launched for the water blind. A couple of whistles by the road to get the angle into the water. Then a couple more to adjust position in the water and out to the bird.

Land - First whistle came by the tree, then three more to guide him through the slot and to the bird.

"Abbey" with handler Kenny Trott came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 9:34 am.

Flyer - Abbey went out through the corn field and scooped up her bird.

Long - She went down the hill through the cover on an excellent line and went straight to her bird.
