Water - Five whistles to get across the road and 2 more to get into the water. Six whistles to get across the water and up on the dam to the bird.

Land - One whistle by the first bale and three more to get beyond the last bale. And a few more to the bird.

"Nitro" with handler Edward Forry came to the line to run their first test of the 2018 National Retriever Club Championship at 7:34 am.

Flyer - Nitro went down through the corn and made a few tight loops and got his bird.

Long - He went through the cover on a good line. He went just right of the bird following the tree line and got deep. Nitro then hunted wide left deep of the area but worked his way back to the bird.
